- Seeking information on ringtail cats, Bassariscus astutus:
I have a mail and female pair that my neighbor brought over after capturing them in his chicken coope. They have quickly acclimated to captivity, obviously enjoying regular meals unencumbered by their bigger and aggressive raccoon cousins. They have not been handled, but are now eating from my hand offerings... as very aware, responsive, gentle creatures.
Not being in a position to keep these two as pets, I am wondering if anyone is interested in the pair before I release them back otni the wild.
