- Please help relocate an unsexed porcupine. Our local conservation department found an African Crested roaming around a small town in Missouri. When catching it, they had to use a catch pole and ended up slicing into it's neck. That combined with lots of quill loss led to it being given to us in pretty rough shape. We're not really equipped to sedate and check the sex so we don't know what it is. It is not friendly but can work around it easily. We just don't have the space for it to stay so it's been staying in a barn stall and chewing its way out. Would appreciate any help relocating this porcupine to a new facility. Would do great in any exhibit, eats and is all around healthy now (see photos for comparison of quills), we just can't keep it. Local pickup preferred.
