- We have two rare silver back jackals that we bottle raised. They are from the only litter ever born in the United States! They are sisters and they are almost 1 and a half years old. They were both raised in our house for the first six months and have never tried to bite. The photo was taken last week. They are well socialized around all other animals and are extremely easy to care for. We have used them in our educational shows for the past year and people are amazed by their beauty. These are not house pets, nor will they be sold as such. They would make excellent animals for a zoo display or educational facility. We would like them to stay together, if at all possible, which is why we priced them this way. We are only asking $3500 each or $5000 for both.
