- Super friendly to those they have bonded with and know. Used in educational programs but best in a situation where they can bond to a few people. Since our educational staff is unable to handle them but their keepers can we need to sale. $150 for both must pick up. Good homes only- use as pet or for a small educational facility. Will take a couple weeks for them to transfer that bond to their new owners but prairie dogs are good about re-bonding with new people if time spend around and with them.
