- Barn hill preserve currently has 1 live in intern position available for the summer. Interns are required to stay a minimum of two months, must have a reliable vehicle, and must have proof of health insurance. Daily activities include feeding, cleaning, enrichment, giving facility tours, building projects, mobile programs, etc. Animals include camel, Eurasian lynx, african crested porcupine, macaws, coatimundi, sloth, tortoises, kangaroos, wallabies, cavies, giant red flying squirrels, kookaburra, sarus crane, and more.
