- 2 year old probably bred soay cross ewe. Mom is pure soay, dad a painted desert katahdin cross. So she is almost a miniature, a nbit tall but probably about 70 pounds.
Has had a nice lamb in February last winter. No problems lambing in the pasture in the cold. Very parasite resistant and hardy.
She was a bottle baby but soay are a more primitive breed and she is skittish if you try and catch her. She eats from your hand ok. Great petting zoo candidate since no shearing required.
