- The Little Ponderosa Zoo & Rescue, a non-profit exotic animals rescue currently has a live-in intern position available. Interns are required to stay a minimum of three months and must be hard-working, motivated, and eager to learn. Having some experience with exotic animals is a plus. Tasks include feeding diets, working with the exotic animals, cleaning enclosures, building enclosures, animal enrichment, facility maintenance, and more. Animals include: coatimundies, red kangaroos, Bennets wallaby, large cats, zebras, Canadian lynx, African crested porcupines, dromedary camels, fennec foxes,silver foxes,antelope,fallow deer and more.
