We are accepting applications from committed homes for a VERY exciting litter that we're expecting will take place in **Summer 2025.** These puppies will be F4 ~45% low content wolfdogs.
The sire of this litter will be our male high content wolfdog, Genn (Cottonwoodz Genn Greymane), and the dam will be a purebred Borzoi named Fay, who is owned by Wolven Hounds. She is a very social, goofy, low energy, and environmentally stable girl and we're so excited to have the privilege of leasing her for a litter! Her 'gentle giant' qualities are going to complement Genn's sweet, easygoing, and trainable personality very well! We expect this litter to produce puppies who are low intensity and lower energy, but still enjoy staying active whenever their family is up for an adventure. They're expected to be very easy to handle and live with, and will do best as indoor companions, although we do still require secure yard fencing. They'll likely have moderate but manageable and trainable prey drive, based on both parents. We feel this will be an excellent litter for first time wolfdog owners and experienced owners alike who are looking for low content wolfdogs with an easygoing temperament that still comes with very leggy, wolfy looks and LARGE 29-31 inch height.
Coat colors will be either Black Phase (like Genn) or Sable (like Fay). Both coat colors are highly likely to phase to being mostly-white with age. Some minimal white spotting is possible (like Fay).
Genn is OFA Hips Good, Elbows Normal, Patellas Normal, CAER Normal, Cardiac Auscultation Normal, Embark Clear. (His CAER + Cardiac will be updated for 2025)
Fay is DM Clear, CAER Normal (Oct 2024), Echocardiogram Normal/Clear (Oct 2024), Thyroid Normal (Oct 2024). Fay has two copies of Bald Thigh Syndrome, but is not symptomatic - this is a recessive disorder, so while all pups will be Carriers, they will NOT be affected. Fay and Genn will also both undergo a 24-hour Holter in early 2025 prior to breeding.
Experience with primitive breed dogs and/or wolfdogs is recommended, but not required. Puppies are eligible for both USA and International homes where F4 wolfdogs are legal. Please Contact Us directly for more information and Apply on our website.
