$200 w/ cage-4 month old Ground Squirrel

Richardson Ground Squirrel bought at 6 weeks old from an exotic dealer in Michigan late April. He is now 4 months and not fully matured. He is friendly and has not bitten anyone, however he does show teeth when you take him out of his cage, it's kind of how he greets us but then allows us to pick him up. He also nibbles when he wants to be put down but it has never hurt and never drew blood. He loves kisses and snuggles and gets along with one dog, however our other dog cannot stop looking at him as food. We had a close call the other day and we cannot keep him in our home safely while still providing the exercise and out of cage time he deserves. He can be handled but once he's on the ground he is very quick and difficult to catch. He is still young to bond with you or your family. I will sell with his 5 story ferret cage including toys and his hammock he loves to sleep in. I put wire covering over the cage to prevent him from escaping when he was young, but this can be taken off as he doesn't need it anymore. I also have bedding and food left over and a small hamster-sized carrying cage.



He is around 500g, is about the size of a Guinea Pig, and I don't think he'll get much bigger.
