I have decided to place my female 6 year-old ring tail lemur. "Leona" was given to me by a zoo several years ago; She was born blind and was attacked by her troop mates when she was young. She cannot open her eyelids all the way and is missing part of her left ear and 1/4 of her tail. She is a fantastic show animal. I have her trained to hold a stuffed animal and to hold/eat lollipops during shows. Because she is blind she is actually easier to house then a typical ring tail; she's currently kept in a macaw/parrot cage. I actually just used her last month for a local TV appearance and can forward the link to any interested parties. She is free to any USDA-licensed home. You MUST have a DEC Endangered Species permit if you are in New York State. Please do not email me asking how to get a USDA or DEC permit. Great animal-only placing to free up cage space. Email is the best way to reach me: Info@NatureNick.com
