I am selling 1 male and 2 female purebred American Guinea Pigs. I am asking $16.50 each for them or take all three for $49.50. All three have typical Guinea Pig personalities. They have short, smooth hair. All three have been checked out by a vet and are very healthy. They make great starter pets. They little furry squeakers! I am selling them because the male bit my daughter. One of the females is very skittish. The other female is currently being treated for ringworm and will be given a clearance by the veterinarian before we sell her. Their cage must be cleaned weekly. Guinea Pigs do have a certain smell that does bother some people. Some people can't handle the smell of Guinea Pigs, even clean ones. All three of these little guys do a wonderful popcorn dance! They love their hidey-houses. I cut their nails monthly with baby nail clippers. They also make strange grunts.

The short haired Guinea Pig has smooth, shiny colored hair without a part. It is the most common breed of pet Guinea Pig. In the United Kingdom, this breed is known as the Self. In the United States it is known as the American Guinea Pig. The body is of medium length and tube-shaped. The nose is wide and curved. The eyes are relatively large, the ears are wide-set, somewhat droopy, and petal shaped.
