We have decided to sell some or all of our Tarpan Horses. Tarpan are a prehistoric Eurasian Wild Horse which have been extinct in the wild since the late 1800s. Today's Tarpan horses are a result of decades of tcelesive breeding by zoos primarily in Europe. Our genetics came primarily from the Catskill Game Farm In New York which went out of business several years ago. We have a 9 year old stud, an 8 year old mare, a 3 year old mare and a 1 year old mare. All are calm and can be handled as easy as a domestic horse. They have not spent much time on leads but would do fine with a little work. These Tarpan are as pure as any modern Tarpan which are primarily in zoos with less than 100 total believed to be in the US. We are asking $1000. each and will sell all together or the two young mares separately.
